Founded in 1831, the brewery has been passed down through seven generations and remains independently operated by the Strubbe family, preserving the traditions of Belgian brewing craftsmanship. As a member of Belgian Family Brewers, the brewery creates its signature Ichtegem’s Grand Cru through oak aging and mixed fermentation, showcasing the distinctive character of a Flanders Red Ale with deep fruit aromas, a gentle acidity, and an elegant complexity reminiscent of fine red wine.
